Cellulites, also called orange peel syndrome or cottage cheese skin, is a modification of skin topography, and is usually manifested with skin dimpling and nodules. Others say that it is normally the condition of many women. It is rarely seen in males. Hormones play a dominant role in cellulite build up, especially estrogen which initiates and aggravates cellulite. Other hormones that contribute to cellulite build up are insulin, catecholamine, adrenalin, noradrenalin, thyroid hormones and prolactin. Genetic factor, smoking, diet and stress are few of the causes of cellulites. There are foods to avoid which causes cellulite. These foods namely are fats, sugar, and salty food and processed junk food. Here’s why they should be avoided if you want to lose weight or keep your fit body:
FATS. Avoid fats instead eat lean proteins and even beef. Lean proteins and beef give the body lots of amino acids. Amino acids are popular of being anti-cellulite substances. A handful of nuts, Slices of avocados and low fat dairy products reduce the emerging of cellulites. Saturated fats are hard to be metabolized by the body. As a result, saturated fat is stored in the skin forming cellulites. That’s why you should avoid red meat and practice eating white meat instead. Foods rich in fat include pork, lard, cheese, butter, cream and milk.
SUGARY FOODS. Drop all the sweets you know from cakes to donuts. Sweet foods are filled with toxins, additives and loads of calories. Sweet foods damage the cell by preventing them to function properly. Sugary foods include muffins, soft drinks, confectionery and more.
SALTY FOOD. Salty food speed the development of cellulites. Eat less salt to stop the production of cellulite. Salty foods like potato chips, processed meat and pork.
PROCESSED & JUNK FOODS. Junk food is never healthy. It contributes to the emerging of diseases. Junk foods are artificial, these are chemically enhanced foods. Furthermore, our body cannot recognize the other substances that comprise junk foods making it difficult for the body to digest them properly. As a result the body stores it as fat and more likely causing cellulite. Candy, potato chips and other junk foods cause cellulite.
ALCOHOL. Because of the substances and toxins that comes with this drink, alcohol is undeniably never good for the body. It is not a food but it is filled with toxins and calories that later on stored in the body as fat contributing to the build-up of cellulite at the later part. Alcohol robs the body of Vitamin C, Calcium and Zinc by then alcohol damages cells and muscles. Alcohol contributes nothing but negative impact to the body. It is never good to regularly drink alcohol. Instead, drink water. Water flushes out the toxins in the body unlike drinking alcohol which adds more waste.
WHAT YOU SHOULD YOU BE EATING INSTEAD
You should always think twice on what foods you shove in to your mouth, whether it is a small snack or a large meal. Take into consideration of checking the nutritional content of everything you eat. Disregard the food that you know will just make you feel better for awhile. Try to eat foods that are healthy such as fruits and vegetables. These foods contain a high fiber which will help eliminate the toxins in your body and reduce cellulite. It also contains water and vitamins to keep you hydrated and make your skin look young.
